Dear colleagues and friends,

The 1st Orthopaedic Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) of “G. Papanikolaou” General Hospital in cooperation with the Orthopaedic and Traumatology Assosiation of Makedonia and Thrace would like to invite you to the seminar entitled “5th Seminar of Tendon Transfers of the upper limb on fresh cadaveric specimens”. The seminar will take place on 7-9 February 2019 in Thessaloniki for the fifth consecutive time.

Thanks to your support the last years, our efforts to establish the Seminar as an annual educational institution, despite the sharp economic downturn in the country which has an impact on all our activities, seem to be proven fruitful. Hopefully, anticipating your active participation this year too, we have the ambition to organize an equally major scientific event.

This year, on the occasion of the “anniversary” for the fifth consecutive year of the seminar, we invite all participants of previous years to attend the theoretical part of the seminar free of charge. This is a chance for them to be informed about the new developments in the field of tendon transfers and for us to meet again and share their experiences from the application of what they learned in their daily clinical practice.

The scientific program of the «5th Seminar of Upper Limb Tendon Transfer with fresh frozen cadaveric workshop» will be held at AUTH Center of Dissemination of Research Results (KE.D.E.A., AUTH) and the educational program on fresh frozen cadaveric speciments will take place at the Laboratory of Anatomy Descriptive AUTH.
